BEHOLD THE POWER OF LENS FLARES!

Reply Bringer_of_light, June 11th, 2012, 8:08 pm

@Draven22: Well, honestly, I'm not that familiar with paint.net at all. I'll try and see if Neociz can help you, as he uses it constantly.

@GBA: Not a single lensflare was used in this, so what? ;-;

Reply Neociz, June 11th, 2012, 8:19 pm

@Draven22: Well, I use Paint.Net and I create things like this all the time. I'm not quite sure what you mean by "making fire" in terms of effects, but if you literally mean making fire, I have a tutorial I can show you.

@Neociz: that would be great!

oh god
Sonic vs Nazo

Anyway on this kind of topic
I personally use Additive in Paint.net instead of Screen. Screen is generally too light imo.

Question:
What would YOU guys like to see episode 3 about

Reply Guest, June 12th, 2012, 9:03 pm

Making dozens of comic using only a single sprite and blurs.

@Bringer_of_light: How to do this effect featured in the last panel. (Or even the one right in the middle that has Tails' face in it.) I don't know what its called but I've been trying to emulate it....since......well forever. Its like a motion blur focusing on all angles at once.

well, I know how to do this in photoshop only..

Basically

Step 1: Post sprite in photoshop
Step 2: Filter -> Blur -> Radial Blur
Step 3: Set the blur method to zoom

and it should look like that

Reply Reign (Guest), June 13th, 2012, 9:27 pm

Paint.Net just has Zoom Blur as its own option separate from Radial

Or that might be an addon idk
I forget what filters I have came with the program and which I downloaded

@Bringer_of_light: @Reign: Thanks alot, I feel so dumb because I have been using Paint.net for over a year and I didn't know about this option until today!
